Terms of Use
Last updated: 7 September 2026
By creating an account in Yesud you accept these terms. They are written to be understood; if anything is unclear, write to soporte@yesud.bible.
1. Who provides the service
Luis Ernesto Valdés Lavaut, Spain. Yesud is a Bible study app with an artificial-intelligence assistant (Yesud AI), offered through the App Store and Google Play.
2. The trial and the app purchase
- When you sign up you get a 7-day trial of the full app, with no payment entered.
- When the trial ends, full access is obtained with a one-time purchase. You pay once and it is yours; it does not renew.
- What the app already carries inside (the Bible text and whatever needs no server) keeps working even if you do not buy.
3. Yesud AI: plans and credits
- Yesud AI runs on credits. Each answer deducts the amount the app shows before you send it; longer answers and documents cost more. If an answer fails on our side, nothing is charged.
- Plans are monthly or yearly subscriptions that grant a credit allowance. The allowance is replenished at each renewal.
- What you do not spend in a month carries over to the next, up to a cap of three months' allowance. That carry-over is a reward for staying: it is lost entirely if the subscription lapses.
- Credit packs bought separately never expire and are spent last, after the plan's allowance.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You cancel in the subscription settings of your App Store or Google Play, not inside the app, because they manage the charge. After cancelling you keep the plan until the end of the period already paid.
- Each plan's price is shown in the store before purchase and may change for future periods; if it rises, the store will notify you and you can cancel.
4. Payments and refunds
All charges are made by Apple and Google through your store account. Refunds are requested from the relevant store and follow its rules. A receipt can be linked to only one Yesud account.
5. What Yesud AI is and is not
Yesud AI writes its answers from the study included in the app and checks every Bible reference against the text before showing it. Even so, it is a language model and can be wrong. Its answers are a study aid, not an authority: test them against Scripture and your community of faith. They do not replace pastoral, medical, legal or any other professional advice.
6. Acceptable use
- An account is personal. Credentials and receipts are not to be shared.
- Yesud AI may not be used to generate unlawful content, to harass anyone, or to attempt bulk extraction of the app's content.
- The app may not be modified, and access or credit controls may not be circumvented. The server decides the state of every account.
Breaches may lead to suspension or closure of the account.
7. Content and ownership
- The English Bible text is the King James Version, in the public domain.
- The verse-by-verse study, summaries, collections, dictionary and interface are the work of the provider and protected by copyright. You may use them for your personal and ministry study; you may not redistribute or sell them.
- What Yesud AI writes for you (answers, sermons, studies) is yours to use as you wish.
8. Availability
We work to keep the service available at all times, but cannot guarantee it: there may be maintenance, failures or changes at the AI providers. If the server does not respond, the app does not lock you out: what is already downloaded keeps working.
9. Closing the account
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account (or from this page). Doing so removes your progress, conversations and documents, and they cannot be recovered. Remember to cancel any subscription in your store first.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you keep the rights granted by the law of your country of residence.
11. Changes
If these terms change, they will be published here with a new date and, if the change is significant, we will notify you in the app before it takes effect.
